Manuscript requirements
Manuscripts should be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. Submissions must be written in clear academic English (or Arabic for Arabic-track submissions) and follow the structure below:
Title page — title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author contact.
Abstract — 200–300 words, structured (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion) for research articles.
Keywords — 4–6 keywords.
Body — Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion.
References — Vancouver style, numbered in order of appearance.
Word limit — 3,000–6,000 words for original research; 1,500–2,500 for case reports.

Use the official JMAS template to format your submission — it includes the required section structure, heading styles, and reference format.
What happens after you submit
Editorial Screening
The editorial office checks scope fit, formatting, and originality within 2–3 days of submission.
Double-Blind Review
Two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript. Author and reviewer identities are kept confidential throughout. Turnaround: 10 days.
Decision
Authors receive one of: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject — with reviewer comments included.
Publication
Accepted manuscripts are typeset, assigned a DOI, and published online as part of the current issue.
Copyright & Ethics Form
Every submission must be accompanied by a signed Copyright & Ethics form, confirming originality, author consent, and no conflict of interest.
